The March barhead show was judged by David Dalton (assisted by Willie Aitken) Best Barhead/best champion-Mr 7 Mrs Welsh, Best Novice-P Gordon, Best Beginner -John Scammel-24 birds entered. The winning bird was a very young green cock-apparently just off the nest!
The members meantime were entertained with a judging Masterclass featuring normal Greens and Lutinos given by Donald McCallum. Donald spent a considerable amount of time telling the members what he was looking for in each variety, the more common faults and how he judged a class large or small. It proved a most interesting and informative evening for all concerned.
The silver salver for most breeeder wins in 2008 was awarded to Porteous Gordon
